Flip-top cover system available for KRÖGER models

KRÖGER offers various solutions for securing loads, which is mandatory on public roads, such as a roll-up tarpaulin system or a double-wing, hydraulically controlled load compartment cover. These options have now been expanded to include a flip-top system.

The flip-top system is already a successfully tested cover system in the truck sector and is used in various vehicle types. The system can be operated hydraulically, pneumatically or manually, depending on customer requirements.

Three KRÖGER tridem push-off trailers have now been fitted with a hydraulic flip-top cover system. The system consists of a front and rear gable section. Hot-dip galvanised pipes are mounted between these sections and adapted to the length and width of the vehicle. When the tailgate is opened, the system lifts up at the rear via an open rail system (similar to sliding rails on a tarpaulin trailer). This also allows for easy unloading via a hydraulic tailgate.

It is operated via the tractor hydraulics. When opened, the tarpaulin system swivels from one side to the other. The scissor movement allows the tarpaulin to be folded down onto the side wall, saving space. The flip-top system is a professional covering system that offers the user a time-saving and user-friendly load compartment cover.

The front and rear gable sections move the tarpaulin from one side to the other.
