Underride guards, which can save lives in road traffic, are a hindrance in many unloading situations. Kröger has now developed a hydraulic underride guard that meets traffic regulations but can be raised hydraulically during unloading.

The hydraulic underride guard is integrated into the tailgate's sequential control system. This means that only one control unit is required for both functions. With the aid of an electronic tailgate lock, the underride guard can also be lifted without opening the tailgate.

Lifting the underride guard prevents any load from coming into contact with it, as it does not drive into the unloaded cargo during unloading.
